一般用来进行概括和总结
在和朋友的对话中常常可见“Well,in a nutshell……”
但不要在雅思作文中使用

“a couple of”、”kind of”、”sort of”
都不提议使用
试比较

many/much更正式

我们从小学习写作文时就被告知
“使用习语能为作文增光添彩”
这话没错，但在英文写作过程中
求求你们不要乱用熟语或者口语表达！
一方面，这些熟语很不正式
另一方面，你真的100%确定它们的用法吗？
许多烤鸭有一种奇怪的信念
想把尽可能多的荒谬习语镶嵌在正常的句子中

但凡有一点不确定你就不要用
（一般情况下考官看到这些错误熟语只想翻白眼……）

这里的避免使用是指
当陈述客观实际时，不要使用
“你会发现……”、“你可以看到……”
这种有代入感的第二人称叙述角度
注意保证陈述的科学和理性

可以适当减少简单词汇的使用

get→obtain/receive

so / very→extremely
